It seems to me that he has not figured out that LB is the key to any chance he has to play in the NBA. Not sure what he is thinking without understanding this reality. Finally, this is a team seeking to blend and find chemistry. If he is/has/will become bad chemistry then it is in the best interests of the team for him to leave.

I completely agree that this shows us JJ's true personality, but if he wants to sacrifice his best opportunity to play professionally (with the help of LB and co.), by all means leave. I don't want to have a malcontent on the SMU team that is going to mess with our chemistry.

Pretty stupid passing on an opportunity to play for a HOF coach and get an SMU degree. Timing shows you how selfish this kid was - we won 15 games when he played a bunch of minutes so I really don't see how he can validly moan about not starting or playing more - I think this coaching staff has enough skins on the wall to identify who the best players are and who needs to play - he would have helped this team and probably played quite a bit but some kids are only in it for themselves - let's hope we can get an impact player in here with his scholarship
