And that is why we will never win again..We are living in the past! We need to move on and create a new identity for the program and not remain confined to the old SWC and that frame of thought!

We are post SWC SMU, We are post Death Penalty SMU...we have a new slate and we are building a new identity. We are in infancy and we need to guide the program to new heights. We are the New SMU.

70,000-80,000 people over 90 years have graduated from SMU who were perfectly fine going to a school with Peruna as a mascot. Its a shame you weren't consulted first. Next time pay attention to the mascot BEFORE picking a school-you could have gone to TEXAS TECH which has BIG HORSE and a saddle. Nobody gives a damn what you want or what you think you selfish little, entitled jack-[deleted]

It's obvious this guy is a troll. He's doing the same thing all of the other trolls on this board do: resurrect years old threads, start five new ones a day, etc. Travis Bickle got canned from the boards during the last days of the Doh era, not sure why the mods are taking so long here, it's making the forum borderline unreadable. No wonder a large contingent of posters defected to [deleted] a few years back

Being out of the public eye at any time during the year for months on end is not a good trait for a college football coach these days. If he is so misunderstood why not let someone do an in-depth story if there is nothing to hide. He needs to shed the tag of middle-aged coach wanting to spend less time on the program at his last stop before heading to the islands. He has too much to offer and SMU and Dallas deserve the best while the positioning for conference alignments is high.

Oh, no. You definitely just got yourself black-balled. Repent and all may be forgiven . . . but not forgotten.

Why on earth do you keep starting so many new threads about nothing every day?
Why do you resurrect threads that have been dead that you have no part of???
Why do you post articles that are several years old and completely irrelevant?????
Why do you seem to know so little about a school you claim to love, cherish and support???????
Why did you "retire" and then come back a day later?????????

The conclusion that any sane and logical person would be that, because you are guilty of all of the above, you are indeed a troll.

To answer your accusations:

Why on earth do you keep starting so many new threads about nothing every day? I do not start threads every day and when I do they are about football related topics.
Why do you resurrect threads that have been dead that you have no part of??? I wasn't resurrecting them, I just posted something after googling and stumbling upon the topics.
Why do you post articles that are several years old and completely irrelevant????? They are relevant...they serve so that you can keep your head cool and not get mad when we lose.
Why do you seem to know so little about a school you claim to love, cherish and support??????? You learn something new every day...I knew as much as any of our students when they graduate. I will admit I have gained more interest being an alumni.
Why did you "retire" and then come back a day later????????? I "retired" because I was upset we lost to Cincinnati and it didn't help that my own "fans" were piling up against me in such a tough day.

F you man, I tried to make peace with you and the other idiots but I guess you will never let it go huh?

The funniest thing about all of this is that you wouldn't dare say any of this to my face.

Sure I would. When someone is so delusional that they think their own farts smell like the Hawaiian islands, I have no problem calling them out to their face.
