Tom Landry Classic @ Ford Stadium on Aug. 27

It's a double-header at Ford Stadium on Aug. 27 with some high school football action.

First game pits Allen v. Mesquite at 5 p.m. Second game will be between Highland Park and Denton Ryan at 8 p.m.

Games like this have to be a boon for recruiting. We need to get as many HS players in Ford as possible to let them see the facilities and visit the campus.

How about if we get several of the sororities to host a water balloon fight with each other on the practice fields before the game, tee shirts mandatory?

Now that is how to recruit.

Attended the Allen-Mesquite game last year and it was a blast. Allen hammered Mesquite and it was the first home team victory I had seen at Ford in a long time. Of course I had to wait until the SJ State game for the next one.
