We had to comeback just to tie them and get to overtime. Outside of overtime they were actually winning the majority of the game. And Cincinnati pounded the ball on us at the end with their running game. Really we were fortunate to comeback and beat Temple after being down about 21 points. We are where we are for a reason.

I still say we can beat UH. We are better than our record (we've played some really good teams: TT, aTm, TCU, Cinncy, and Rutgers are all solid teams with aTm an elite one - even though TCU's record is not good and Rutgers has tanked) whereas UH hasn't played jack squat. AND I like our chances at home with a bowl game on the line against UCF. But, of course, we HAVE to beat UConn and USF first.
If you want a shot at beating us, your D better learn how to stop somebody. Otherwise you're going to get blown out very quickly.
A blow out could very well happen. But your team is still WAY overrated. And, even if you were national champions, it's still Houston so it doesn't really matter. Your school is completely irrelevant to the world.

The cincy Rutgers game just makes me think: had we played 4 quarters of just basic fundamental football, we would be undefeated in conference...

Agree. We are what our record says we are...a scrabbling to put together enough solid quarters to get us to toilet bowl Valhalla
