Murderers' RowOur "woe is me" non-conference opponents went an impressive 0-3 this week, including a home loss to Southern Utah.
Re: Murderers' RowSMU's Strength of Schedule according to Sagarin is diving at No. 80 in the Country meaning close to the bottom 1/3 in the Country. As I have said this ain't a tough schedule. Never was a tough schedule for a school allegedly "moving up to a BCS Conference." In fact I'll suggest that SMU has the EASIEST in conference schedule of ANY TEAM that has ever played in a BCS Conference because we ducked Louisville. We had the easiest route to the BCS ever with this schedule since we could have made a BCS Bowl without beating a team ranked in the Sagarin Top 25

Re: Murderers' RowWhere does our OOC strength of schedule stand? More important stat than overall. Probably still harder than UL, UC or UH. UCF may be the toughest in the AAC.
Re: Murderers' RowThe average rank of our non-conference opponents in Sagarin is 64.75 rounded to No. 65

Re: Murderers' Rowbut wait, wait! we played all those 'big' guys that used to be in our conference. Obviously, those who calculate those stats haven't talked to our AD/coach who thought our OOC was waYYYYYYYYYY too hard.
Re: Murderers' RowWe were TCU's best game of the year for them...They have not put 40+ on anyone this year except SELA
Re: Murderers' Row
OR maybe we're just that bad and they play in something called the Big XII. BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: Murderers' Row
Hate to tell you this. . . TCU didn't even put 40+ on SELA. . . TCU won 38-17 2015 INDIANAPOLIS OR BUST
Re: Murderers' Row
Wow so we were TCU's highest scoring game...48-17...jeez
Re: Murderers' Rowon the other hand we held A&M to its second lowest point total only 1 behind its lowest point total

Re: Murderers' Row
LOL - that was a favor from Kevin Sumlin to June Jones. They could have scored 90 on us in all honesty.
Re: Murderers' Row
Yeah, good thing Sumlin called off the dogs in what the second quarter? I wonder if he felt like the onside kick was a rhymes with tick move so eased off the throttle later.
Re: Murderers' Row
SE Louisiana is ranked 38 spots higher than SMU in Sagarin and actually gave TCU a better game. Seriously, I'm not sure who SMU beats on TCU's schedule which actually is a Top 20 schedule. Kansas is the only team ranked below SMU on TCU's schedule at 112 while SMU is 110. "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

Re: Murderers' Row
Wrong...whoever got to duck UCF has an easier schedule (38-35)
Re: Murderers' Rowwe'll see-maybe-season not over. But Louisville is ranked 8 spots better in Sagarin. I know I'd rather play UCF at home than UCF and Louisville on the road like UH
