Not a fan of those. UH's Halloween alternates were much better

When are we getting blue home uniforms with the gloves that show our SMU Mustang logo when crossed?

^ Why do you feel the need to quote everything anyone says when it has nothing to do with your post? It just makes the threads long and less readable.

And probably never since we're poor unless someone decides to pony up for them

Without seeing the gloves, could anyone have guessed who the uniforms were for?

Textbook promotion. Unrecognizable as Tech, but looks pretty good.

Tech is trying to become Texas' team. We are just trying to be Dallas' team. Here's SMU's uniform release photos from last year...a last minute, after-thought, in front of a bathroom at the hotel where we were debuting them in front of alumni. We really pulled out the big guns...pardon the Tech pun... Image

How do state schools justify using public funds for uniform craziness? Per Title IX, their women's teams must get brand new uniforms every game.

I really wish you hadn't reminded me of this. Just terrible.

I'd like to see our next jerseys have the state of Texas on them somewhere, and you've gotta do the Pony logo on the underneath of the gloves. There's so much cool stuff we COULD do with our uniforms.

Those Tech uniforms look awful. Schools need to stop creating new uniforms just for the sake of creating new uniforms. If there's a reason for it, fine. But those things look like they were ordered out of the back of a junior high school Phys Ed catalog (and let's be fair, SMU also did a photo shoot with Margus, Gilbert, etc.) So many schools do so many stupid uniform combinations. Tech seems to be the latest in that long line.

They can create one Power Ranger uniform after another, but in the end they are still Texas Tech. It is what it is...

Looks like they stole the design from Mellow Johnny's Cycling down in Austin.
