This should be a recruiting tool?
Look kid, you have a future with an SMU degree.
We all know University Park is wealthy but #1 is impressive.

32% single...that's 8,000 singles in UP? Hard to believe.

Lots of retirees with no official income but a lot of money in the bank.RGV Pony wrote:How is the median income 190k? Seems low

I was leaning that way, but apparently it's accurate. Although 8% are singles above 65 living alone, and I'll bet there are a few more elderly singles living with children/siblings. Plus about 7% single mothers as head of household (not necessarily ripe for the picking). So, maybe 4,000 eligible singles (lots of SMU coeds in nice condos I'm guessing here, too), which makes more sense.SMU2007 wrote:That's when you count the childrensmusic 00 wrote:32% single...that's 8,000 singles in UP? This is so funny. UP is actually not a good place for the rich or the single. At least the outwardly rich. It's a fairly conservative place populated by families. I sure as heck would NEVER live here if I was single.
