Post by PonyPride »

Nick Reed, who has played backup nose tackle at SMU, has been moved to running back, head coach June Jones said Wednesday. Reed played nose tackle and running back at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas.

A 296 lbs. running back? I don't like it....I love it!

Is Wimbley still on the team? Seems like they could have moved him back to RB.

Now that WImbley is down to 250-260 LBs, lets move him back to NT.

Seriously. If we burn Hollie's RS in these final games with a 296lb backup RB I am going to personally storm June's office

Why not? SMU converted a LB into an all-conference, school-record-breaking RB and a discus thrower into an NFL-caliber talent and kick-blocking machine.

If they said in addition to instead of changed, that's one thing. The need at NT is greater than RB. Bring him in on goal line/short distance runs, but not change to RB.

I was hoping the position change would be Line, P. moving to the position of KC's backup.

according to SMU's Participation stats-Spencer Hollie blew his redshirt a few games back. It says he has played in 1 game. Ridiculous. I was wondering who our 3rd string RB was. What happened to the great Luke Seeker

This is incorrect. Spencer Hollie hasn't played this year. Luke Seeker has been out with a concussion. And to answer above, i'm almost positive Wimbley had a season ending shoulder surgery
