I'd be shocked if that game actually takes place. We want out and A&M stands to make a lot more money from bringing in another bodybag opponent to Kyle Field in front of 100,000+

Maybe with the Money Badger gone, a new head coach, and some fire from the players, we'll have a better shot than we did the past couple of years.

That is what a lot of people said last year but aTm will not let us weasel out of it. And they shouldn't. It is an easy win in an area that they recruit. The game will be played. Plus they will not have Manziel and we might have a chance to do better.

If there's a buyout we should jump on it. I hope the Baylor game doesn't get cancelled instead, but Baylor, A&M, and TCU out of conference is scary.

In the end, hopefully it's about $$$. A&M still gets a trip to Dallas when they play Arky next year, and 100,000 tickets sold at Kyle Field is a lot of cash for them to pass up on.

This means nothing, Baylor announced their 2013 schedule last November as well and we all know what happened with our scheduled game versus them. No way Aggy plays back to back weeks in DFW.

I read this as saying there is a very good chance we will not be playing A&M.

"Texas A&M announced its tentative 2014 football schedule..."

"Currently, the Aggies are slated to play SMU in Dallas on Sept. 20."

One hedge word for the overall schedule and one hedge word specifically for the SMU game. None of the other games get their own hedge word.

36k attendance SRO??

would be nice to have "The Pony Pub" ready for that one. Let's break some attendace records. Oh and make sure that theyhave to buy a package in order to get that ticket. And let's also make sure that we don't price gouge like we did last time. That cost us a few thousand.

Yeah, we had those special bleachers setup in the south endzone and no one was in them.

We might bring our 28k fans to that one...TAMU will provide the rest.

TCU is a whole nother story...hopefully we can pack 40k between seats and standing room

$90 a ticket took care of that.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

We drew 35k in 2010 when they were #4 in the country...what makes you think we will draw 40k next year? Do you think before you type this stuff?

I think SMU is limited now to about 36,000*-just about what they got against Tech which was an official SRO sellout. I know they've had more in past at the Bowl game. Didn't they consult the fire marshal. Capacity was reduced a tad too I think by the renovations

*actually officially 34790

It'd be nice if WE could pack it and give them an allotment of seats in the lower back corner section of one end zone.
