Just reading the tea leaves here, but he's an early enrollee...wonder if JJ gave him some kind of assurance he'd be here for awhile...

Hopefully our nationally ranked passing and receiving stats would attract better prospects-I know this guy was excited about how often we throw the ball

we stayed on this kid even though he missed the season with an injury I think...many programs must have backed off or not recruited as hard.

I've been somewhat baffled by the fact that we've been unable to recruit blue chip QBs and WRs. WRs especially seeing how June has taken a bunch of kids nobody really regarded and put them into the NFL. With a QB you could fall back on the old "system QB" argument. But for creating eye-popping stats, for the reps and highlight film opportunities, there's no place better to be for WRs.

So what's the scoop on the injury, and what's the status (if any) of his rehab?
