The kid is extremely talented. There is nothing wrong with having high expectations, given modern medicine. Should people expect him to be a program savior from day one? no, but he should eventually turn into a game changer for us if he does indeed recover from his injury. Unexpected things happen with everyone. Could one of our all-star basketball players suddenly tear an ACL tomorrow? of course, but that doesn't stop most of our fans from salivating at the team's prospects. It is one of the more exciting aspects of being a fan. That said, I have not even seen any video footage of this particular recruit so I am merely arguing a point, not for raised expectation for this particular player.
