Haven't broken many if any rules and haven't posted anything obscene. Not once have I received even so much as a warning from a mod either. You may not like what I have to say, but I do it within the rules.

72-42.

However, it is not 2012. It's 2013 and the Coogs are 4-0 and lookin' good while averaging 43.5 ppg.

I almost put up a poll a week ago. Probably should've done it already....

How about you actually beat someone other than FCS Montana State at the last second since you guys were too scared to play Baylor. Everybody remembers how you were getting blown out during most of the game.

And a 3rd year UTSA program went up and down the field on you missing 2 starters and playing freshman and sophomores. Lets look at facts, it's 24 to 21 Houston and UTSA has wide open man in end zone they under throw then next play you block FG for a TD. But UTSA gets ball and drives it 70 plus yards again right down on your defense to make it 31 to 28. Then your next possession your QB throws one right to UTSA linebacker who has ball tip up and fall to receiver of yours just standing there. It should have been pick 6 other way for UTSA.

Announcers not once but twice go on about how lucky you guys were and how it easily could be UTSA leading. Then later UTSA drives it right down field again only to have 96 yd int run back. This 3rd yr program went up and down field on you guys.

Your last scores were off blocked FG, lucky tipped pass which was bad read and throw by your QB and announcers said "never seen anything that lucky", and int after UTSA drove it downfield again. Yes, SMU is a bad team but you have to realize if we played your schedule chance is our stats would be padded also and we would be averaging more points per game.

You'll probably beat us this year but have some objectivity and stop making up crap how great you guys are, the tape and facts don't lie. If you play a nobody first game and score 60 plus, if you score only 20 next game that will average 40. You just played a 3yd old program who has been practicing at high school stadium until recently and they went up and down field on you.

Hate ever being on a coogs side or come across it but we barely beat a FCS team and chances are with our mediocre D and abysmal WRs would have UTSA running down the field without problems and their D would probably shut us out...

Have you played anyone? Had you played SMU's schedule, you'd also be 1-3. The difference is that your team would have looked like it put effort in

The difference is that UH has RECRUITED highly-talented players and looks to be on the upswing - while SMU appears to be regressing!

I would take O'Korn for the next 4 years - and Greenbery too. UH always has highly-talented skill players (something we lost when PB's recruiting classes finally graduated).

I thought with JJ at the healm, the two positions we would never have trouble recruiting would be QB and WR - boy was I wrong! PB recruited better players at both positions!

Don't necessarily disagree and I think right now like we are playing UTSA may give us a game also at least for few quarters. Like I said, I can also easily Houston easily beating us this year (probably by 3 TDs or more) unless things change. Right now we simply are not very good.

However, Houston played essentially a high school team their first game, by all accounts a bad Temple team (and they only scored 22 on that bad Temple team), and a start up program in only its 3rd year of existence. This argument "we are 4-0 and averaging 43 points" really needs to be put in some perspective. If they had instead played at Texas A & M and at TCU I doubt they would be 4-0 or averaging 43 points. I also bet we may have won at least one of those 3 games and scored more than 22 on Temple.

As far a recruiting, you must remember they can take and admit some kids that we can't get in or can't keep in school. My brother-in-law in Houston who recently left admissions dept. says their standards are not very good, especially for the athletes. This is NO excuse for how bad we have been on the recruiting trail but you really aren't comparing apples to oranges with who they can admit to their placecompared to ours, and the majors that they can funnel their athletes to take.

Should be 10th. Rice, NTSU and UTSA are competing for a division title.

Warning: Sunshiner alert!

Caveat: I agree with most of you who are extremely disappointed in our recruiting, saddened by our lack of success against winning BCS level opponents, etc etc. . . HOWEVER:

- Our 2 conference losses are by only 3 points each, one of which was in a 3 OT loss. The other we missed TWO freaking field goals (one of which was a short, money shot).

And IF we win out (which I don't think we will) I would say the year was not that bad.

However, if we lay an egg against Houston and then UCF runs all over us, I will retract all of this. The Houston game is our super bowl without a doubt. By far, the biggest game of the year. I hope our guys are ready to play the game of their lives.

Maybe I'm nuts but I could see us beating UCF at home with GG back and healthy. Guys will be motivated for Sr. Day (think Tulsa last year) and while UCF is a solid team, they barely beat Temple on a last second kick, and only beat Memphis by a TD. Not saying we should be favored, but I think we have fighting shot against them

Wonder if we will recognize the seniors before the game or after the game?
