That is real funny. Not sure what it was suppose to mean... Maybe it is a jab at our academics or my "worthless" degree. I am happy that you guys think you are the Ivy League school of the south... If you would like please PM me and I'll fax over my W2 from last year. You would think it is crazy what they would pay a 25 year old Texas State grad...
...in Seattle, WA nonetheless. Go ahead an be the Ivy school of the South. Actually fits pretty well. Good academics, sucky football.
According to the link
Texas: 46
SMU: 73
Tx St: Not even listed in the Tier 4 schools.
Even Oklahoma was ranked 120.
Face it, your school is a wannabe lower tier institution with [deleted] envy. Renaming the school doesn't make it worth a damn. It's still the same old crappy school in the middle of an even crappier town. Everyone I've ever met that graduated from that shithole had a crappy job and couldn't hold my interest for more than about a minute.
And your football team is terrible.

TxSt gents:
No, I would not say that to messrs. Strait or Johnson. Then again, you don't see them on an SMU message board running their mouths, do you? For that matter, another good man representative of at the time SWTSU was Jim Wacker, who I'm also pretty sure was diplomatic and, come to think of it, actually helped turn the light toward TCU once he found out what was going on over there.

The last Texas grad I met was delivering newspapers for the Houston Chronicle. The Longhorns have no room to talk with your drug reputation. It should make you proud that Texas (branch school in Austin) is listed in the Princeton Review as a top 10 party school and known for the best drugs.
50,000 enrollment with 30,000 in liberal arts. This must be why you guys are rated so high.
If anyone is delivering pizza it should be one of your grads but the store manager is worried about them eating it before the pizza is delivered (with the dope problem).

Wow!
This coming from a guy who lives in McAllen,Texas. What bet did you lose to end up in that crap hole? I can't take anyone seriously who wants to talk bad about someone’s future and they themselves live in the metropolis called the RGV.
That whole place is one big dirty pizza joint. Do you really feel that much better than everyone else because your place of business does not deliver? Get back behind the register at El Pato and shut up.
I'll take an order of Bean & Cheese!

I heard its been pretty hot in Austin. Guess, there's not as many lawns to mow which is why you've come here to visit.

That last sentence fits you really well -- is that what you yell to the cooks to take care of the family sitting in your section at Table 49? Kidding really ... but you go to school in San Marcos, not Austin. San Marcos is known for a river full of drunken idiots. It's a fun time, but it's a bunch of people drinkin' and peein' on themselves. Not something I'd want to be known for since we're talking "career smack" here.
People sometimes go back to places (like McAllen) b/c of family or they take over a business that is headquartered there. You know the clients of those agencies and firms in big cities? Yaaah, sometimes they are located in other places b/c of a certain industry. I know that's probably a bizarre concept, but if you think really hard you can grasp it.
In regards to this game, I can't imagine how enthused the student body will be to hear about playing vs. Texas State. Since around 50% are out of state now ... and something like 35-40% of students are from AL, GA, TN, Carolinas, FL, etc. Knowing Texas State is on the schedule will get them really into starting a huge rivalry -- it'll feel like an SEC game back home.
SMU and Texas State have about as much in common as Duke and App. State, or Vanderbilt and East Tennessee State.
If you're going to schedule a D-1AA, at least make it like Grambling or Southern so there's an entertaining band show.

Great. We are having 3rd World Universities talking smack, we have managed to offend the gay SMU grad, and I am sure that soon someone will jump on from Abilene Christian and start giving us sh*t.
Where have all the [deleted] SMU fans gone and why aren't we concentrating on showing our AD the door to a succesful career working for the Fighting Armadillo's of Texas State.
As a side note, where have all the "illegal board aliens" come from and why has the border patrol put is in a position where we, the Ponyfans Faithful, been forced to deport these "illegals"?

Lay off his gayness. But aren't Texas State grads sheep chasers or is that only the Aggies. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Speaking of animals, did anyone see the Pam Anderson Roast on Comedy Central last night to benefit PETA. She basically had a see through top so her headlights showed. There were a lot of jokes about her mistreating the mascot for Oregon State by shaving all the fur right off. But I digress.

Yup, one guy's actions are indicative of a whole University's student body. Sheesh, I wasn't even talking smack about SMU and yet I still get attacked.
So what if there are a lot of Liberal Arts students. There are some great schools at UT and some that are just crap. My school, The School of Architecture, was and remains a Top 10 college. And I'm proud to be a graduate of UT. All I know is that Texas State is a joke and it will always be so.

That was nice. I love it! Having pictures of fans makes you a F@ggot. I'm glad none of the guys in the pic were black or who knows what your racist-bigot mouth would say? Good Job.
I will leave you with a few things that make you fell better.
