Re: Famous Houston Alums
What explanation would you like? Every time someone posts a political photo/joke/comment, it turns into a political argument, touting the virtues of one party or another. This was no different. This has been our policy for years, and there are plenty of other message boards out there for political talk. Thank you for understanding. PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

Re: Famous Houston Alums
I went to Houston Law. Don't know why I am not on the list of famous alumni. The law school is a good school. I had zero interaction with the university at all except to pay a parking ticket and get a transcript. I had no problems getting a job in Dallas out of school, but then that was the magical year of 2000 when the job market was thriving. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: Famous Houston Alums
Take them off your list. The legal market for new grads is brutal. Simply put, law schools are turning out to many graduates. Unless you go to a great school and do very well, you are going to have a difficult time paying back your student loans. UH is OK but mid- level. Avoid Tech, UNT and A&M like the plague. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: Famous Houston AlumsPonyTime,
Don't think Franco went to Coog High. Hard to show Ken Lay on SMU-UH week and not include reference to our very own Jeffery Skilling, which leads to a funny Skilling quote. When applying for Harvard Grad School of Business, Skilling was asked if he was smart. His reply, 'I'm f'ing smart'. For the record, I don't think any of the UH alum posted on this thread are as f'ing smart as Skilling ![]() ![]() ![]()
