Uhhh...what? Army has been the Black Knights for 100 years.

UCF were the Golden Knights, but they dropped the Golden part a few years ago.

Correct. The U.S. Military Academy has always been the Black Knights. FYI, the Golden Knights is the U.S. Army's Parachute Demonstration Team.

That is an outstanding uniform. Love the big numbers. So much better than the nike small space age numbers that you cannot read.

Message from Rick Hart:

@AD_RickHart: Appreciate the ideas and exchanges re: FB uniforms. Will try to provide some feedback in this week's column. Happy Thanksgiving! #PonyUp

Nice. Maybe the Doak khaki look could have little Mustangs all over the pants like the slicks on the blvd.

He's doing better.

We spoke to Hayden Fry in Houston about two weeks ago at an event by Astros manager Bo Porter. The coach was in good spirits and seemed to be in pretty good health, especially since he traveled for the gala.

Good to hear. Gentleman who sits in front of me at Ford was one of Hayden's players just ahead of me. Said he saw him at his home out west (Nevada, New Mexico, ????) recently and that he was not well.

Fry lives out in Las Vegas. The coach is certainly not 100 percent (who is?) but in better shape than I had been led to believe.

These mockups are fantastic, I actually tweeted at Hart today about the basketball jerseys and why their are no names on the back. He said it was a coach's decision..

Anyway, I know it seems trivial to some, but I'm definitely in the jersey obsessive group and I think everything you design is really really good, I hope Hart and team are smart enough to work off these some day..
