What ever happened to Longoria punting. As I recall he was a very good high school punter.

The commercial is supposed to make us look liberal, because liberal schools are smart...

We'll I didn't go to smu for that. I hate that commercial, you have the prettiest campus in the country but decide to show an animated commercial. Makes zero sense.

How does that commercial make SMU look like a "liberal" school?

Anyone remember when we thought we pulled a fast one on Houston by hiring Jason Phillips and leaving them w Levine as head coach ?

Great play by Acker. He will be our biggest loss on defense next year.

Actually they didn't want Phillips as HC, Sumlin didn't want him at A&M and Phillips couldn't even get the FAU job. The fact that we ended up with him says he had no other options.

Game is a disaster. This game is a poster board for lack or recruiting which translates into lack of depth when you have injuries. It also translates into a disaster when you refuse to give your back up QB any snaps during the season until injury hits and forces him into the game. This team did not appear ready to play today which is another coaching issue. The only good news is that Burcham is getting some real game experience that he will need for next season.
