Former SWC Opponents

Postby Treadway21 » Fri Nov 29, 2013 3:51 pm

Tech 41 SMU 23
A and M 42 SMU 13
TCU 48 SMU 17
Houston 34. SMU 0

165 to 53

And people wonder why DFW sports fans don't come to see sMU football. Time for us to be competitive where it matters and I contend these are the teams that matter. This cannot continue. I would like to see anyone defend these outcomes.

pretty much sums up why our own students & alumni don't support this program. Forget about the casual sports fan in DFW. Not happening. Let's see if basketball can win back our bandwagon fans

agree. This is what matters in FB. Texas teams. Hart and RGT need to understand this in making their decision.

Where are all the "best defense ever" and "8 win season" posters from July and August?

when you look at it in terms of how we did against our former SWC mates this year compared to 1989, I guess the conclusion is that we have come full circle

And instead got to play Montana State, Memphis, Temple and USF.

JJ's teams are 5-18 against former SWC schools -- a winning percentage of .217.

3 of the wins were against Rice. Take away the four Rice games and he is 2 - 17 -- a winning percentage of .105
