I'm thankful for...

Post by ThunderStang »

So in this season of giving thanks I'm most thankful today that I didn't bring a friend with me to witness that cluster[patterson] of a game. It was bad enough exposing my girlfriend and family members to that display of awesome ineptitude. Doing such to a "potential" new fan would have been damaging for all parties. Sitting in the stands was depressing - we looked like a Mickey Mouse operation through and through - barely able to keep up with the mighty power that is UH football. Kudos to the fans who showed up but for crying out loud we couldn't even afford to bring the damn band to Houston? I would have chipped in money for that. People were dying for something to cheer for and instead all we got was death. Way to make a good showing in your home state in a winnable game, powers that be. I hold nothing against the players - you could tell the kids were fighting but just looked horribly outschemed the whole game with no fire from the coaches. Rant over. Now back to pie.

Thanks for going. We should have shown up for this game and didn't. I feel terrible for all the fans that showed up and had to sit thru that game. How can we not look prepared for arguably the most important game of the season.

I forgot to give props to the alumni band members that came out. Thanks you guys - y'all did a great job trying to fill the void but needed more help.

I'm thankful for...

forgetting the game was at 2:30, thereby saving myself several hours of unnecessary anger.
