Pope looked good at RBIf he switches to RB I think he could get some looks in the pros (kind of like Taylor Thompson) although he may still get some looks as an LB.

Re: Pope looked good at RBnot to take anything away from Pope because he played a great game today...but keep in mind this was Houston we were playing. Not exactly a big boy defense. We would not have even moved the ball against most SEC teams
Re: Pope looked good at RBSince when do we play SEC? He looked better than Line. Too bad we had a 4th/5th string RB today and we couldnt get a running game all yr long. Zach saved many games.
Re: Pope looked good at RB
my comment was in the contest of Pope being looked at as a RB by NFL teams
Re: Pope looked good at RBWe recruited Pope as a RB and June moved him to LB after his freshman season
Re: Pope looked good at RBIt all comes full circle...Pope, recruited as a RB, is moved to LB, then June collects half a dozen other RBs that are all one-dimensional, and don't pan out (to date) for various reasons, and Pope is forced to shift back to RB 11 games into the season.
Re: Pope looked good at RBDid a great job running down the fumble return.
Re: Pope looked good at RBI thought both PLine and Pope did a good job.
Second, we had a great RB when Pope was recruited; Zach Line. Putting Pope, a good football player, at a position where he had no hope of playing is a waste of talent.
Re: Pope looked good at RBHe needs to start this week in front of Line. He is a bruising runner that is faster than Line.

Re: Pope looked good at RBI agree. Start Pope. Runs much faster and harder that Line.
Long live Inez Perez!
