We'll take the same step back next year as we did this year and go 3-9 as we lose Gilbert, Johnson, Acker, Joyner, Pope, Gottschalk, and Scott.

And with the recruiting class we have now we might take another step back the year after next too.

Wouldn't there be something in his contract about penalty clauses regarding a lack of recruiting. Or did anyone think about that when he was hired?

This way he doesn't get the full year's pay.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

So I guessed 6-6 and just wanted to hear what other thought - never claimed to be Carnac!!

I think had GG been healthy, that game might have been closer. But we're going to get murdrered on national tv by UCF

No bowl=no jones. It is clear that our recruiting woes are being exposed. And why isn't the backup QB redy to play? Did JJ think injuries don't happen?

Our coaching stinks. Our recruiting stinks. I want a new coach.

You were obviously really close to picking how we would fare this season and it could still happen. USF gave UCF all they could handle and that game was in Orlando. I agree that if Gilbert hadn't gone down, Houston could have been a very different game. You look at the stats and there is no way you would expect such a lopsided score. Bottom line is that we have to win 4 games in Ford to become bowl eligible. If we can't win 4 of 6 home games, we don't deserve to be playing after 12/7
