Recruiting question: Nikita WhitlockI'm watching the Vandy/Wake Forest game and Wake has this nose guard, Nikita Whitlock. He is 5'11" 250 lbs. and he is leading the nation in tackles for loss this year. He was a 2 star recruit out of Wylie, TX. Did we recruit him? He seems like the kind of "DITR" kid that would have helped us.
Re: Recruiting question: Nikita Whitlockyeah I kind of remeber his name-SMU was his only other reported offer. He wasn't completely overlooked though because he actually was named as the No. 5 DT in Texas by Geoff Ketchum of Lone Star Recruiting (Texas Rivals). I'm sure his height played a part in his rating

And weight...250 is tiny for a starting FBS DT not at a military academy. 2005 PonyFans.com Rookie of the Year Award Recipient
Re: Recruiting question: Nikita WhitlockI believe enough of our staff thought he was too short that we did not offer.
