Kind of weird how this game ended so much like the UVA game just with the good guys winning.

fair enough - #11 almost took it to us and drove the lane all night and barely missed at the end. Love Nic and he is our only guy who can shoot.


Honestly, I'm just not sure you can d up on guys driving the lane anymore, especially when everyone is in the double bonus w 12 minutes to go.

about all you can do is move your feet and pressure the ball enough so that Moreia, Cunningham or even Kennedy alters a shot or blocks it. This team still generally has good back line support. I'm not sure I've seen an SMU team block or alter this many shots inside

Yes and I think this is why we give up so many three looks. All our defenders help in the Lane which leaves spot up guards open. At least that is my observation. I would rather take my chances giving up open threes than having a soft interior defense.
