Prime Prep Academy draws scrutiny from Texas Education Agenc

Unless Prime Prep gets itself turned in the right direction soon, it could be headed for shutdown. The TEA is now being much more active in shutting down underachieving charter schools after the Legislature granted it additional powers during the legislative session this past Spring. This shouldn't have an effect on Emmanual Mudiay's academics this year, but I'm glad its happening during his senior year and not earlier.

Glad it is not going to affect Mudiay.

It looks like Deion is trying to do the right thing for the kids. I wish him luck and am pleased to see someone of his statue take a hands-on approach to improving education.
