Frazier had the most exciting missed dunk I have seen in a while. His head was almost at the rim.

Just got back from the game. Left with 5 & change, with SMU leading 73-43. McNeese St is a terrible team. . .
Just curious! What was the announced crowd? Probably around 1,000 at tip-off, and probably 1/2 that in the 2nd half. Felt like I was at church, cause it was a dead crowd too. Wasn't even comparable to Sam Houston, Rhode Island, Texas St. . .
Thought the A&M victory, and the later start time would bring out a few hundred extra fans. . . Apparently not! SMU just needs to get back to Moody before people start showing up. . . I HOPE!

I realize we should have been at the game, so don't jump on me for that. BUT I watched the game at the fraternity house with 15 other guys. The guys were talking about players, their stats, larry brown etc. Acting like they were big fans of the program. Last year it would be and one other guy watching games. I think little stuff like this proves there's a big buzz around this program and people who usually couldn't care less are now interested, and starting to take notice. I don't think we will have an attendance issue for students when we get back to moody. It also helps that we have these blow outs because then the ESPN announcers just talk us up and it makes people who are just casually watching feel like we are really good. My girlfriend even asked if we are really as good as the announcers act like we are. (Actually noticed the announcers were very nice to us too while we were getting stomped by Houston in football) I hope we make the tourny because I think this student body is primed to jump on a bandwagon for the school if we are finally good at something.

Nice. That's 25 gallons in So Cal. 30 here. It all adds up. btw, now that I think about it, LB would never play me. I only shoot 3s and don't play defense. The exact opposite of what he looks for.
Ha, yeah me too. Well, this was back in the early 90s so it bought me quite a bit back in the day.

Also helps a ton we are on legitimate tv (even if it is ESPN 3) instead of first row. Say what you want about the AAC and we don't get enough money or whatever, but it's way easier to get a casual fan to watch a game with me when I don't have to click around the porn site advertisements to pull the game up. Funny story: last year over winter break I was with my whole family had the tv hooked up to my computer and was pulling up an SMU game from a pirate site. "Get Russian Girls now" popped up in front of everyone. pretty awkward.

My only guess is because of his dad b/c he certainly shouldn't be playing over these other guys. He must be a practice stud, who knows.

I actually met a guy who did mail-order his bride. Much less creepy than I thought it would be but it took him about 10 minutes to convince my buddies and I that she was actually a mail-order bride, lmao. She was Brazilian, I have a new appreciation for mail-orders now.

You're likely right. Usually the attendance count is number of tickets sold. They rarely do clickers for every person walking through the gate. Kind of like how the Red Sox sold out every game for however many years it was. Fenway was not always full....even though it was "sold out"
