Okay can someone explain to me what the whole deal with the overhead projector is? I have seen many post about this and don't know what they mean with June and overhead projectors. Not trying to be a noob...just want to understand...

Back when Adrian Klemm was killing it on the recruiting trail for SMU, we saw what could be done - 4 star Cali players were interested in SMU. It is like the way Basketball is now - the offer lists for kids that we had shots at were full of legit PAC12 offers like USC, UCLA, WSU, UW, etc. When Klemm left after the ASU fiasco, he took some of those players with him and other didn't commit to SMU, instead opting for Wash St or USC. Some just didn't qualify - Davon Moreland, etc. So at a coaches luncheon, June used an overhead projector to show that Klemm wasn't really a great recruiter and could be easily replaced because none of the current starters were his commits. This argument was of course BS, because from a timing standpoint - of course none of AK's players were starters as he'd only been on the staff for a couple years. It was one of those WTF moments - he gave AK such little credit when we all know the truth - that AK was named recruiter of the year and has since been KILLING IT at UCLA under Mora. Thus, the overhead projector incident was born.

This is on the screen test page.
Any idea as to who those players are supposed to be in that scene? Are any of our football players sleeping on the sidewalks?

Oh wow. I heard about Klemm before. We need to get recruiters like that to come work here! Maybe we could consider the ASU fiasco time period as the downfall of June's era at SMU since we lost those great commits and JJ just lost interest.

Personally, I'm wondering whether this film might give cause to terminate his contract. I have not seen his employment agreement, but in my experience, anything that could put the company (in this case, SMU) at risk for reputaional damage may be grounds for termination.
If he is using the SMU locker room to film scenes for this movie, and those scenes portray discrimination or something negative about SMU- perhaps we have cause for termination??

I really don't get offended by anything anyone says on here. I've learned that if you take it with a grain of salt or realize that others may be right then it's not so bad. I've seen Ponyboy, Abu, and Planostang take plenty of heat for their June loyalty and they don't get rattled ever.

I'm still not sure why you guys are letting FTHP, who is an obvious, and I mean OBVIOUS troll who flips his position every other thread, derail your boards.
