Four former fraternity brothers at Southern Methodist University have been sentenced to prison over a North Texas hydroponic marijuana ring.

Investigators say nearly a dozen Dallas-area houses were used to grow and distribute marijuana since 2004.

A federal judge on Monday sentenced Louis Michael Olerio Jr. to two years behind bars. Olerio pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Jeremy Cash McElroy pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering and received three years in prison.

Eric Irving Love and Jeffrey Scott Gannon pleaded guilty to conspiracy to maintain drug-involved premises. Love was sentenced to 2├é┬╜ years in prison. Gannon received 27 months behind bars.

Investigators didn't immediately identify the fraternity.

Another man, Brian Edward Deloney, pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug-involved premise and received 1├é┬╜ years in prison.

They were Pikes. I only knew one of them(Olerio), and he was a super nice guy and not involved in drugs at all while at SMU. Didn't know about this until today, but I guess its been going on for a while.

Ah yes.......the roof at 3058 Yale (SMU) Blvd. Nice view of downtown Dallas from up there.....and all surrounding areas and streets in the vicinity.
