I don't think JJ wants a team full of highly recruited players. That would put pressure on him to win. I think he prefers being the underdog. If his team wins, he's exceeded expectations. If he loses, the other team was just more talented. High pay, low pressure. What more could he want?

I asked on another thread when was the last time we had a coach who loved us half as much as the steaming pile loves TCU. I think with Ed O we would have that in spades. I love the job he did cleaning up some of the Kiffin mess.
