I'll probably still end up doing it though in all honesty. Just terrible timing to have the home opener over winter break when have your students aren't from Texas / dfw. Hope turner boldin visit on a game we have a packed house.
So people would fly back for the game, then fly back home, then fly back to Dallas again? I guess I would have thought that once they came back from the game they would stay in Dallas.

We all need to be ready for terrible student attendance at the opener for Moody and chalk it up to bad timing. Hopefully they will show up for the second game when many will be back in town......

There are easily more than 725 students who live in the dfw area and there are awhole bunch who live out of town but then live off campus so have an ability to come back early if they choose to. I think the student section will be full or close to full. We have a great chance to have 10 wins + and will be playing uconn, moody will be rocking.

You have too much faith in us as a student body. I would expect 150 students at the most. Probably less.

This topic has raised with AD Hart in the Mustang Club tent before the Memphis game. He said an effort is underway to bring back (and recognize)f former athletes and seat them in the lower bowl where they will fill in for students who are not yet back to campus.
If you are experiencing déjà vu, I posted a similar message on another thread several weeks ago.

I think they should invite the young alums into the lower bowl as well.

As a young alumni and former FB player I probably went to 3 bball games by whole tenure at SMU. I recent bought two season tix in the upper section b/c of coach Brown/players/New Moody but it would be nice to be lower with pricing I can afford. I am still young enough and willing to swallow my pride and scream/cheer loud just like the students.

It would be nice if they moved us. Pretty sure you could get a lot of the young alumni to be a lot rowdier than the current student body anyway

Let's #shocktheworld. Myles is still on the board. That would be awesome! Really wish Jonah the best at UCLA.
