KXAS (Ch. 5) Covers the Mustangs!

Just caught the end of the sports on Ch. 5 (KXAS-TV)...the Ft. Worth station!...with a story on the Mustangs 'turning it around' this season! Interviews with players, too...and coverage of today's luncheon. Good publicity!

Good Channel 8 coverage of both the Staubach luncheon and SMU football in general too. Ironically, I heard the simulcast on KNTU.

As I said last year, it is really sad that a Ft. Worth station gave the Mustangs more coverage than the Dallas stations. Channel 5 has provided more coverage the past 2 years. That is why I started watching their news.

Now channel 8 decided to provide some coverage, but it is probably because of Roger.

In another post, they were talking about who to get for the luncheon keynote speaker and Roger's name came up. Then Shawn placed a call and asked. That is what I keep saying. People and personalities in the area will help if you ask. The key word here is "ASK".

Amazing what happens.
