9 for 12 shooting between Kennedy and Ben Moore was nice. Kennedy is showing signs of improvement offensively

It's one thing to struggle on the road, and another to play a team like this tight all the way to the end. Based on UCI's results thus far, you're not going to see a team like Louisville, Memphis, UCONN, Cincy struggle to grab a souble digit lead against a team like this..

I also just worry about Frazier, I don't know much about his mental approach, but he looks like he's been playing not to make mistakes, and now to be benched for the whole second half I worry he must be feeling at a loss right now..

Few of the teams you mention play games like this on the road. They dont leave home, other than neutral court tourneys until league play. We're not in that position yet, no big deal. It was a bad game but one we never trailed. Put it in perspective. It's not indicative of anything.

As for Frazier, why do so many of you baby the guy. He's possibly our 4th best recruit in a 4 man class right now. Get over his high school ranking, recognize his shortcomings and pray he turns into the sniper we need.

His game boils down to 2 plays tonite. When woks within the flow of the offense he gets the beautiful 3 when he tried to force it he threw up an air ball on the worst shot selection of the nite

He also sucked in our defense to him, and nicely kicked it out for some key assists. Really nice player.

His game boiled down to not fighting over screens and giving up easy looks on multiple possessions. I'm sure they'll live w him forcing junk on o, it's kick starting the other teams comeback w bad defensive mental lapses and effort that gets him extended pine. Either way, that forced jumper really symbolizes the way I feel about a lot of his touches. He's so anxious

You know he has skills, but when he has the ball it's like he's playing hot potato.

Not a strong showing for our Mustangs. Outside of Barlow, UIC is not a good team. Definitely glad we got the win. Just did not seem to be a lot of chemistry tonight. Props to Ben Moore and Nic Moore for good games, but everyone else, not so much.

He's not at all playing at a McD's All-American level. He really should have been able to break the starting line-up or at least be first off the bench. There are a lot of guys making much bigger impacts around the country as freshman on better teams ranked much lower. He simply looks like a freshman, lost and doesn't understand his role. He's not playing within the offense a lot of times and that hurts him. And until he gets his shiz together on the defense end, Brown ain't going to spot him a lot of minutes.

No such thing as an ugly win on the road. We're 8-2. Go grab 13 more wins this season.

Looking at stat box-its a good thing we shot a pretty high percentage tonite especially for a road game or that could have been a Big L

FG % 54.2%
3-FG% 55.6%
FT% 69.6%

so we can take good shooting as a bright spot

Very well said OhioBrownFan. We definitely need to not make excuses for Frazier or coddle him. He is a McDonald's All-American. It is time he played like a McDonald's All-American! Pony Up!

Hence "the shark"

But really some of you need to stop freaking out. We won comfortably, on the road, after 4 games in 6 days and we never trailed. Just because it wasn't a 30 point beat down doesn't mean we played like crap, it means we're human, which I think some of you are already starting to forget, but I hope not.
