This kind of reminds me of what June's agent did during the ASU fiasco. His agent went to the media to try to get a contract from ASU. However, the strategy did not work.

As I said in another post that dealing with a contract through the media is generally not the best way to do things. This is really unfortunate.

I'd criticize this media campaign as being the same shopworn tactic that coach has used before, but it may well work one more time. Seems transparent to most of us, but does that even matter?

I find it difficult to believe that recent blogs (aka, "the media") have any bearing on contract negotiations right now.
