Myles Turner is a pipe dream. Youtube interview from less than a week ago, the interviewer mentions Texas as the only in-state school still in the mix, and Myles didn't blink

Myles would be a great get, don't get me wrong. But I wonder about his knees. He just looks very wobbly out there and stiff. Of course, he dominates because he's twice as long as most HS competition. And I'm sure he'll have a very good (and short bc he's one and done) college career. But I wouldn't cry if we didn't get him.

I'd like get Bolden, though.

College basketball these days seems to be more about one and done than about education. Just because you're a McDonald's All American that doesn't mean you're gonna go NBA after 1 year. Somebody needs to talk to these kids an explain the education side of it. After all it's the college that's giving you the opportunity to showcase your talent.

Not a chance turner stays more than a year or two anywhere.

It's definitely not about education.

If you actually have the talent you need to go. If you come back a second year you could risk injury and millions of dollars. If you pass up millions of dollars to come back to school you definitely need more education.

I think we are out of the running. We are never mentioned and every website with his top schools doesn't even list SMU. Need Bolden

Or you could get injured your first year in college. I'm saying when you hear these all am's the first thing out of their mouth is get to the NBA. There's only 32 spots worldwide for about 2500 prospects. And it's not like there's massive retirement in the league.

Right and that is why they should be allowed to go to the NBA right out of high school like baseball and soccer. The NBA uses colleges as farm teams to save money. The AAU circuit and high schools give them and opportunity to showcase their talent as well that's how they get ranked. The kids that are one and dones know it (like Wiggins and Parker). High school kids used to got straight to the pros like baseball and soccer before the NBA passed a rule that you had to be 19 years old to play in the NBA. If they want an education that badly they can come back and get one like everyone else did. It's about going while you are healthy and have an opportunity. These kids make millions for the colleges so they don't owe the colleges anything. But again they can always come back to school and get a degree then take an entry level job making less that six figures.

We were never really in the running. He cut us out at his top 8 (now 7 because Louisville seemed to have backed out) and basically said he'd think about us as a favor Mudiay. He ain't a comin.

Bolden would be awesome though

His dad said he and his son wanted to see a game or two in Moody. I got the impression that some good crowds coupled with good play could put us back in the game.

Here is hoping our play and crowds at Moody will sway Myles Turner to SMU. Imagine Myles Turner in a lineup with Emmanuel Mudiay, Nic Moore, Yanick Moriera, Markus Kennedy, Keith Frazier. Could be pretty special!

Watched last night's game. Myles Turner looks like the college version of Marcus Camby (while at UMASS) with range. If my memory serves correct, John Callipari coached Marcus Camby in college at UMASS and UMASS was #1 in the nation at the time.
