Still waiting for PM, feelthehorsepower.
Unfortunately, this is not a game I can sneak away from Cali for. I coach wrestling in my spare time and our kids have their first tournament tomorrow morning, so I'll be watching from my ipad in between matches and appreciate that fact that you're braving the cold

I made it out to 4 this year (Tech, TCU, Temple, UConn) so I thought that was pretty good.

He makes $1.3M at Clemson now. I would think JJ's current salary ($2M), a HC gig, and a return to his home state could possibly get him here.

Not sure if you're laughing about the appreciating the cold part or that you think I didn't actually come for those games. I'd be more than happy to send you my travel itinerary from southwest for those weeks if that's what it's about. Otherwise, I recommend a big jug of hot coffee filled with Kahlua and Jack.

Hope so. Would be big news. I'll be shocked. Could we outbid Wake? Does the Texas location trump a lower-tier P5 program? Anyone else interested?

This program needs a move like this for it to have a prayer of keeping up with what's going on in college.

Wake was paying Grobe $2.3M, so we'd be in the ballpark. NC has a 7.75% state income tax, ours is obviously zero.
I started a thread earlier debating what is the better job: Wake or SMU? I think if you're going somewhere for a long time the answer might be Wake because of ACC access to major bowls and TV revenue, but short term, if you're looking to build your resume and make a quick move up the coaching ranks like Morris may be doing, SMU might be your better option.

Yeah, I'd like to see those itineraries. Where can I email you?

Sources continue to indicate that if SMU’s June Jones either leaves or is fired, Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris and Sam Houston State coach Willie Fritz are expected to be serious candidates.
Didn't you or someone else post this same article a day or two ago?
