Rumor out of Clemson SC

I do a significant amount of work in Greenville, SC which is about 20 minutes from Clemson.

The rumor here is that when Chad Morris leaves Clemson for a HC gig (it is considered a 'when', not an 'if'), QB Chad Kelly will follow him to that school and sit out a year if he has to. He was a RS in 2012 and suffered a torn ACL in the Spring game this year.

Chad Kelly, for those who aren't familiar, is the nephew of former Bills QB Jim Kelly.

This is from colleagues that are fairly well-connected to Clemson football. Haven't heard anything specific regarding where Morris may land, but the QB thing is a given (they think) when he does leave this year.

I would so love for SMU to hire away Clemson's golden boy OC. It would be justice for all the Clemson / USC stuff I have to listen to when I'm working there.

PS - the reason they say this is that they think that Watson kid will be the game 1 starter as a freshman for Clemson.

Spent a summer at a camp on the island directly North of Hilton Head. Wasn't much fun, but we did get to shoot guns!
