Gary Kubiak

Postby Stallion » Fri Dec 06, 2013 10:14 pm

just fired by Houston Texans and had medical episode this year I wonder where he fits into Coaching carousel. Played and Coached at Texas A&M so he understands recruiting obligations. Involved in 3 Super Bowls with 49s and Broncos. Pretty long run in NFL as Head Coach. Probably will want to stay in NFL but he kind of fits the profile of some NFL Coaches who have success in College Football

Once laid out in vicious sack by Russell Washington(?) in SMU rout 47-9. Broke his leg I believe
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Would Kubiak be healthy enough, considering what happened to him, to take the stress of of serious recruiting?

They also fired the special teams coach. Sounds like June's type of hire.

Was just about to get on here and start this. Runs a great zone blocking scheme and can likely recruit well. We should take a hard look at Gary

I'd take half-a-Kubiak for what we have now. 8)

He should have been fired weeks ago. He is pretty emotionless on the sideline and calls the same 4 plays....no, I've had enough of that kind of coach. Leave him in retirement.

Kubiak will be an NFL OC come next season, could get a P5 job if he really wanted one.
