We give them the same field position by going for it on 4th down rather than punting it...and there's the chance we convert it. As a high school punter who played a number of games in below freezing temperatures you learn that the key to punting is to have the team manager warm up the ball. The colder it gets the more rock like and inflexible the ball and punting is very difficult.Arkpony wrote:35 yd punt...sigh

Preston wasn't supposed to see the field all season due to a medical condition. I'm just curious why they dress him if he isn't medically cleared to play.
As far as being next to the heater, we went back to the walk of shame. His responsibility when we were up tempo was to signal in the plays. That is not needed today.
