Zelt Minor's playing time since we burned his redshirt
It doesn't seem to me that he played enough to justify burning his redshirt. Did he play more that 10 plays today?

He looked great today. There was a different t vibe on D when he was in. He should have had major rotation and started from day one. This ain't the pros. If you have talent on this team you should play.

He's played all season. They didn't burn his shirt today.

My point is that we have burned redshirts we should have. If you are going to burn redshirts he needs to be a major part of the rotation. If he did not get enough plays in then it was a waste especially since we are not going to a bowl anyway.

He has not played in the major rotation all year. So it could be considered a waste. I know we did not burn his redshirt today.

I agree with you rebel. He should have been starting. My stubbornness.

Or like you said at least play more that he did. But that is just my take on it.

If you all would do your research there is a reason he did not play in a span of about 4-5 games. Some maturity issues from a team aspect. The three DL starters together put up bigger numbers that the last two years DL. The players are not the issue! The 3/4 scheme is the issue. The LB's numbers are not even close to where the LB's were the last two years. Give Minor this spring and summer then you guys can start your talk about him.

Well sounds like they burned another redshirt necessarily since our current DL is so good. Playing a few plays a game is not worth burning a redshirt.

What do mean maturity? I couldn't care less if he is hard to handle or immature. That is up to the coaches to figure out. The best players should be on the field and he is clearly the most talented DL we have. That was a weakness all year based on our defensive numbers (and scoreboard) so not sure how you can deny he should have been on the field more.

Late for meetings not focused in practice or games! Not against Minor but you all think he is so fantastic! He might be next year? My point is the 3/4 scheme is more of the problem than Minor not playing as much you would like! When you only have 3 DL rushing against 5 OL your LB's better be able to make plays and secondary also needs to be good.

Thanks you Mr. Barnes. If all that is the case then they really should have redshirted him.
