Bench heating

Postby solomouse » Sat Dec 07, 2013 5:55 pm

Maybe my eyes have seen it wrong,but....it looks to me that Baylor has been able to locate and install benches with reasonably sophisticated heating ...it was sad to see the crap that SMU made available for our team....maybe the tv pictures gave a wrong impression, but to me this was just another indication of the amateur approach we have accepted as " big time" effort.

Rick hart looks forward to your gift to the football team of bench heating. Nice of you to make that offer. We all appreciate it.

Most teams have the same kind of heaters we have that I have seen on TV. UCF's heaters were worse than ours and they still beat us.

Which is the same reason I keep insisting we need to keep up with Big 12 facilities. You have to perform at Big 12 caliber before being Big 12.

Hard to do when your conference only pays $1-$1.5 million per year...........please feel free to contribute to the Mustang Club if you don't already.

Give money to the Mustang Club for what? There's no commitment from SMU to build up from where we are!

First, I would like a commitment from SMU that we want to build those facilities. Second, let's start fundraisers and get the money to build them.

FTHP makes a good point. That's how many young alumni see it. Lay out a plan that I like, I'll donate toward it.

Hey genius, the big 12 gets like $20M a school. SMU gets $1.5-2M barely. Write a check for that $18M and our AD deficit.
