If jj is back next year I think you will see a major drop off in MC contributions, ticket sales and butts in the seats. I already know of several generous donors that have said 'no mas' if jj returns.

With TCU and A&M coming in season ticket sales will rise (mostly from the opposing team's fans but the money spends the same).

sbs- you are probably correct- but just for those couple of games. however, I doubt if those people will be giving to the MC or buying numerous books of season tickets.The 3 people I know who have said 'no more' totaled over 50k in MC contributions plus many books of tickets.

If JJ reached out to DMN or ESPN or whoever to try to use media, what possible reason would media have for helping him (if they could)?

I'm not saying it did or didn't happen. I just can't imagine why anyone in the media would see any benefit in getting involved in something like that.
