SMU-UCF scored higher TV rating than Pac-12 championship
Umm...wow. I realize there wasn't much at stake in the Pac-12 title game, but wow.

Great! People tune in to watch and the TV cameras show an empty stadium. Should have made them put the cameras on the east side as was suggested.

Nevertheless this is amazing!!!
Hopefully Hart will be making a note of this for the AAC's next TV contract negotiations & conference re-alignment BS.

The PAC-12 is definitely inviting us now for our TV clout.

Can you imagine the excuses the PAC-12 is making now? LOL! From a soon-to-be X-bcs-BS conference.

I enjoy watching Stanford play. That game had a lot of competition. I recorded it and watched it after the Florida State game.

Re: SMU-UCF scored higher TV rating than Pac-12 championship
virtually everyone in my office said they watched our game and stayed tuned in until the end. They compared SMU's performance against UCF to South Carolina's game earlier this year and concluded we have a much better team than our record showed. They were curious about the lack of attendance and my explanation was "the bball game was postponed and I assume that game was played because UCF and ESPN managed to get into Dallas before the ice storm arrived" but that the only people able to attend were those willing to walk to the stadium (at least a partial truth). I had to explain that east side stands were closed. Several thought we were playing for our conference championship. It reminded me that those who follow "other conferences" from a distance think more highly of SMU football than most of us do

I was amazed at how many people asked me about the game at work today.
