The far-reaching economic impacts of keeping Jones

Postby BRStang » Tue Dec 10, 2013 9:17 am

I'm waiting until SMU decides to keep or can him before renewing my Rivals subscription. If we keep him, I keep my money and the economy takes a hit...

Name others here...

obviously if jj stays the MC, season ticket sales etc. will all take a big hit. I already know 3 MC donors who plan on dropping out (total contributions >50k plus lots of season tickets).

The CoC is made up of top Businessmen and Alumni who want to see a return on the money invested. They will make the decision that will make sure that investment sees a return. So if they keep him, it means they do trust Jones taking us to the next level...but I highly doubt it.

People who quit going to game or supporting the MC because JJ is kept are morons. It's not a business investment. It's a tax write off.

This may be the most ridiculous post in the history of ponyfans.

It's entertainment money and a charitable donation. No one makes money out of it. Not even the COC.

Well I have to admit that I was thinking of doubling my Mustang Club contribution this year up to the Stallion level, but if June stays I will keep it the same this year and see if he is still around after next year. Just a "business" decision!

Treating this like a business investment is dumb. Abu is correct.

Buying a martini is entertainment - yoh know what you are getting and it is pretty reasonably going to yield entertainment.

This is not true of SMU football. Right now it is likely to not yueld entertainment for most of is. The money is to help get a better prodyct in the future.

If we can't hope for better product most of us should probably stop spending any money immediately
