LB is doing a good job in trying to communicate and build a relationship with the students.

I love how LB is so positive with his interaction with the SMU community
It makes sense to me.

LB or ColoradoStang?

Oh I see it. ColoradoStang must have been typing to fast and had a typo. Understandable. Opportunity, Mob, and experience are not misspelled on LB's actual email.

Yeah I typed it out sorry. Couldn't copy past because it was an image. LB's message didn't have typos. It was cool because it showed up in your email as from Larry Brown. Not from SMU athletics like usual

Honestly its the first time in the three years that ive been here that anyone besides me is talking about smu sports (besides the other ponyfans guys I know). I don't want to be too optimistic and get disappointed but...I'm really excited and I know a lot of other kids are too. Picking up your tickets was the thing to do Monday in my house, which was pretty cool. Everyone was like "oh yeah we got ours earlier today, how bout you?" I actually personally walked over three different groups of guys because they didn't know where the ticket office was, (how sad is that?) but they really wanted to get tickets so they asked me haha.

We DESPERATELY need to have a good year this year or next. I'm afraid if we don't make the tourny soon the kids that are now interested will lose interest. They dont have the heart yet to root for a team that isn't successful.

Thanks, I think we will make the NIT or CBI at the least if we can get over .500 this year.

Update:

I just went to pick up my hofstra ticket, and waited in line for about 15 minutes. Everyone was students except this one lady who I talked to for a while about SMU sports in general (she wantedJJ to leave too). She said she was faculty, and said that some tickets were released to them for the games and were sold out already, but said that she heard more may be opened up for faculty for the UCONN game if the students dont fill their allotment.

Bigger news, I asked the guy at the counter how tickets for students were going and if we were going to run out. He checked his computer and said it looks like Rutgers is the closest to being out of tickets. Said 74 students tickets were left for that game. We may actually end up coming through on our side of the deal, we need about 6k of y'all to do your part 8)

Also, Peruna (the costume one not the real one) came by all the fraternity houses at lunch with a sign that said get your basketball tickets now, he took a couple pictures with guys
