Volleyball: American Conference Awards

The American announced the 2013 volleyball award winners today.

Avery Acker was named Setter Of The Year!

Additionally, Caroline Young, Avery Acker, and Janelle Giordano were named to the first all-conference team. Young and Acker were unanimous selections.

Cailin Bula and Abbey Bybel were named to the second all-conference team.

Not unhappy with the state of SMU women's VB, but curious why we are not in the mix for more Dallas area players. Dallas appears to be a hotbed for top Div. I players as evidenced by the DMN all area selections and the colleges they are committed to.

If you watch the latest Moody update it sure looks like the new volleyball locker room will help in recruiting. Wow.

Just looked at the video. The new facilities should really help in recruiting.
