I can't believe we are worrying about piddly sums of money. $18 million will build you a really nice big middle school. We shouldn't be struggling foe this.

Do they recruit Football players online as well? Maybe that's something JJ learned at ASU and he's trying it out...only that we keep getting 1 star kids with no BCS/FCS offers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

feelthehorsepower (Cougar King), when you say "we" are spending on "our" programs are you talking about SMU or your "university," Cougar High?

We can get this IPF done right away with a little Habitat For Mustang Humanity. If enough of us show up on some Saturdasy/Sundays at the Wescott (formerly Armstrong Field) job site, we can do the demo of the current soccer stands, pour the nice slab for the foundation of the exterior walls, etc. you get the drill...I am pretty decent with drywall, and I know how to tape & bed, can any of the rest of you pour concrete?

I have never taken an online class, so I can't speak to that directly. But when I keep hearing how some folks with online only degrees had other people do their work and submit it as their own, I can't help but be skeptical of people with non-traditional degrees.

You're right. I agree with that... I've taken both and feel that the online classes are harder more because of personal preference... I hate doing classes online mostly because I don't feel that they're as organized.

I have a hard time believing they can't get a lead donor for an IPF but they're good on an $18mil tennis complex and golf. I reject such stances Mutombo style. Tell me another fairy tale please.
I can't believe we are spending $18M on Tennis...a non-revenue generating sport instead of investing in the sport that brings us money and national recognition! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If SMU has a lead donor in hand, then that project will get sent to the head of the line. Don't forget that the golf deal was announced six months ago. So that it already in the works. I don't know anything about the Tennis Center.
Tennis Center is a priority because we currently have no tennis courts at all. The SMU Boulevard Courts were demolished for the Bush Library and the courts by Dedman Center were demolished for new dorms. So the courts are a need, rather than a "nice to have"

I like this idea.. a lot. Id also pay good money to see the look on RGT's face when he pulls up in his 7 series beamer and sees ponyfans attempting to tear down the bleachers in westcott on a saturday morning.
