Obviously, Chester's argument makes no sense w regards to uk, but it's actually true at some schools. I know we've had that debate at Maryland a ton since the standards went way up on who they'd admit. Half the fan base that graduated before the 90s, regard their degree as being from a safety school. They look back on the crowds before the average sat shot up, vs what they are now, and just blame it on technology and accepting egg heads lol
