The fraternity experience is so watered down at SMU today the houses basically initiate members a week or two after they join. Kids today couldn't handle what the "old timers" had to endure to become members.........

disagree with that unless you were in a bad fraternity.

I have to go with ponysnob on this one, at least from my day. It is illegal to do today what they did back then so I cannot imagine it being more difficult now.

Good job, Fresno. Keep fighting the fight. Let's get the MOB strong and make Moody an intimidating place for teams to visit. It all starts with the students.

btw, you guys have a chance to start a really cool SMU tradition at games. The MOB can be your legacy. come up with crazy signs and chants.... Be Duke like.

True but you had 3 years to get even

Arkpony,
Spent 13 weeks there in 2006. Even then, the DI's sure put a lot of hands on recruits, considering they aren't allowed to put hands on recruits. I can't imagine how it must have been without the oversight and media attention stuff like that would get today. I knew we were in trouble when I snuck a peak at the DI's printed out schedule for the week, and it had at least an hour a day blocked off that was titled simply "hazing".
