I read something about there being no buyout in Saban's new contract-is that true?

I saw something somewhere that suggested UT will swing and miss at Saban (check), Meyer, Fisher and Mora before ultimately deciding between Charlie Strong and Dabo Swinney.

actually june does more with less talent - but the fact that he has less talent his own fault (and our biggest issue).

Apparently there is a short list of 5 names.

Dabo Sweeney from Clemson
Jim Mora from UCLA
James Franklin from Vandy
Gus Malzahn from Auburn
Jimbo Fisher from FSU

It's believed Sweeney is at the top. I honestly can't believe that Malzahn would leave Auburn for UT; don't know anything about Fisher's history with FSU outside of him being an assistant. I still don't believe a nice coach from Vanderbilt would be their first choice.

Sweeney would be a poor choice for UT. He consistently has lost to top ranked teams. Yet, they always have talent there.

Strong or Mora would be a better fit at Texas.

Pat Fitzgerald played LB there. When they hired him, he might have been the youngest HC in the country. I don't see him leaving Northwestern.

I would love to double my salary. I'm sure Pat Fitzgerald would as well. I just think the guy bleeds purple. It would be a tough, emotional decision for him to leave Northwestern. It is a moot point since his name hasn't been mentioned by anyone other than us.
