Sigh. This isn't hard guys. SMU has made the decision that they are not pushing JJ out the door, but they can't announce it before JJ decides he isn't going to walk out the door himself. JJ isn't going to decide until he and his agent are 100% sure they can't get comparable money somewhere else.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Or jj is purposely waiting until the last possible moment so that the quality choices are already gone by the time he announces. Just another way to screw SMU.

Agreed. No need for a big announcement when there is no change. As for the second part, that is highly unlikely as there aren't that many openings. Arkansas State, Army and Bowling Green likely don't interest Jones nor will they pay as well as SMU. If Jones wants to follow the game of musical chairs created by filling the Texas job, that will take at least several weeks to play out. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal ... anges-2013
The fact that the staff is out offering/signing recruits leads me to believe this is a dead issue. If they were headed elsewhere, they wouldn't be out on the recruiting trail.

And if that is truly the case then the only thing that is dead is SMU fball. embrace mediocrity- we do what we do.

He might be interested in the Bowling Green or Army head coaching positions, they both have an IPF.
I have never seen a fan base so united in the pursuit of one goal - to fire June Jones - only to be ignored by the powers that be. I have emailed Hart multiple times on this issue, only to receive answers that make it sound like JJ is coming back. Many of us have taken to tweeting facts about our staff/recruiting efforts to Hart and media types as well, hoping that an ASU-like "grassroots" effort may work to affect change. Those ASU fans pushed back on the admin to revoke Jones' offer, and it worked. Graham was a home run hire for them...they played in the Pac-12 championship game this year! Imagine how well they would've fared with JJ's recruiting and the Air Raid offense!! LOL
I'm telling you - extend JJ and you are losing many, many fans. Who knows when they will come back, if ever. There is only so much you can take as a fan. I count myself in that category, because it speaks volumes about the school and the direction of the football program (or lack thereof).
This is what I have been trying to get across to Hart and Turner, only to be given "talking point" replies or ignored altogether. I am not a large donor, but I do give money to SMU, much to my wife's chagrin. I cannot justify that donation any longer.
