There are plenty of great 5'8-5'9" running backs of the past.gostangs wrote:5-8 running back? Really?
Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith come to mind.

True but some on the board said that we were not going after anymore 5'9" players.PonyKris89 wrote:There are plenty of great 5'8-5'9" running backs of the past.gostangs wrote:5-8 running back? Really?

NOT DEFENDING JONES' RECRUITING. But one thing that may make sense to consider is JJ is often a "leading indicator" recruiter with his recruits picking up offers after they've been offered by SMU. So just because some don't have offers now, doesn't mean they shouldn't and won't eventually.

no he isn't-you just follow SMU recruiting
he maybe a leading indicator for NTSU and Houston Baptist.
In fact, only a few of his recruits received BCS offers-can you name any that got BCS offers are June lead the way? Makes me laugh just thinking about June leading the way in recruiting

Right, I believe Houston offered to try to get Zelt to come back to Houston.ftworthmustang wrote:Maybe you should check into that a little further.
