I'm no PR professional, but usually bad news is doled out on Friday afternoon.
That is when I would expect an announcement. Nothing official yet, but many folks in the know and on the pay sites seem to think it is a done deal.

June was at the basketball game last night. Don't know if that means anything, but if I were leaving a job, I certainly wouldn't be showing up to after-hours company functions.

Unless you are in negotiations and want to show your loyalty

He did NOT recruit LB he only encouraged him to hang in there after first LB interviewed for the job. Before that I believe LB said the last time he and June crossed paths was 30 or 40 years ago in passing.

J.J. is a strange bird, you can't really read into anything he does or doesn't do.

Is "bad news" in this case that he is or isn't staying...?
